Human Trafficking

At Denayrar, we firmly and unequivocally condemn human trafficking, modern slavery, and all forms of forced labour, exploitation, and unethical labour practices. As an internationally engaged business that operates in the property advisory and real estate sectors—industries that often involve complex supply chains, cross-border operations, and a diverse range of service providers—we recognise our moral, ethical, and legal responsibility to ensure that our activities and partnerships do not contribute, directly or indirectly, to human exploitation in any form.

We are committed to supporting the global fight against human trafficking and align our values with internationally recognised human rights frameworks, including the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the ILO’s Forced Labour Convention, and the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. These frameworks are not merely aspirational to us—they are core to how we define ethical success and responsible business.

Our Commitment to Ethical Business Practices

At Denayrar, we believe that every person has the inherent right to freedom, dignity, safety, and fair working conditions. These principles are central to our company culture and are embedded into the way we conduct business, build partnerships, and engage with communities across the globe.

Our commitment extends to ensuring that no individual is subjected to trafficking, involuntary servitude, debt bondage, child labour, or any other form of coercion through our supply chains, joint ventures, or project partners. This includes the construction and real estate sectors, where the risk of labour exploitation—especially among migrant or low-income workers—is often higher.

We hold ourselves and our partners accountable to the highest standards of transparency, ethical conduct, and due diligence.

Due Diligence and Risk Prevention Measures

Denayrar has implemented an ongoing framework of due diligence and proactive risk assessment to help identify, prevent, and mitigate risks of human trafficking and modern slavery within our operations and those of our affiliates and supply chain partners. This includes:

  • Conducting comprehensive background checks and ethical assessments when onboarding new suppliers, contractors, and service providers—especially in high-risk countries or labour-intensive industries.

  • Requiring written commitments from all third-party partners to comply with applicable labour laws, human rights standards, and anti-slavery regulations.

  • Including ethical business clauses in partnership and vendor contracts, which empower us to terminate agreements immediately if any breach of human rights or labour ethics is identified.

  • Engaging in ongoing monitoring and review of our operational and procurement practices to ensure they remain free from risk.

  • Prioritising partnerships with suppliers and collaborators who demonstrate a transparent, traceable, and ethically-managed workforce, particularly in areas such as property development, interior fit-out, construction, and furnishing.

Training and Awareness

Internally, we are committed to equipping our team with the knowledge and tools needed to recognise and respond to any indicators of human trafficking. Our team members receive regular guidance and training on:

  • Understanding the signs and red flags associated with trafficking and forced labour.

  • Knowing how to report suspicions of exploitation confidentially and safely.

  • Upholding Denayrar’s values in all client and partner interactions, especially when operating across culturally and legally diverse regions.

This internal culture of awareness, responsibility, and integrity strengthens our ability to act as a vigilant and proactive force in the prevention of modern slavery.

Zero Tolerance Policy

Denayrar maintains a zero tolerance policy toward any form of human trafficking, exploitation, or unethical labour practice. If we discover evidence or credible suspicion that any supplier, contractor, or partner is involved in such activity, we will:

  • Immediately suspend or terminate all business dealings with the offending party.

  • Report the matter to relevant authorities, including law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and human rights organisations.

  • Offer support to any affected individuals, where possible, by connecting them with appropriate assistance organisations.

There is no exception or justification—whether commercial, regional, or cultural—that excuses any level of complicity in human trafficking. Denayrar’s stance is firm and unwavering.

Collective Responsibility and Industry Leadership

While we are proud of the systems we have in place, we also recognise that combating human trafficking requires collective industry-wide action. We actively support and advocate for more stringent regulation, transparency, and corporate responsibility within the global real estate and property investment industries.

We encourage our clients, suppliers, and peers to uphold the same standards, and we invite collaboration from like-minded organisations who share our vision of building a clean, ethical, and inclusive global property market. Together, we can contribute to a future where every transaction is rooted in fairness and respect for human rights.

Reporting Concerns

We take all concerns related to human trafficking and labour exploitation seriously. If you are aware of or suspect any wrongdoing related to Denayrar’s operations or supply chains, we encourage you to report it confidentially to:

Denayrar believes that ethical business is the only sustainable business, and our commitment to protecting human dignity is integral to who we are as a company. We do not tolerate exploitation in any form and are dedicated to operating with transparency, integrity, and humanity in everything we do.

We thank our clients, partners, and stakeholders for joining us in this responsibility and for supporting a world where everyone can work freely, safely, and with dignity.
